I just discovered a website that I am addicted to. It’s called http://www.searchandrestore.com/ but within that website is the true gem:

What they do is once a week (I think) they ask a New York City based jazz musician or “artistic force” a few typical questions about their career and what got them there etc. After the interview they play 1-2 hours of music that the artist himself selects. This is AWESOME! It’s a nice view inside these artists heads. Some of the music they choose you wouldn’t believe that they would even check out. Who knows, it might even be an inside joke with his friends. But he/she is given complete freedom to choose whatever music he wants to air.
I suggest checking out the Tim Lefebvre podcast. Some great music on that one. Good interview too!
